Théo Hennequin

Théo Hennequin is a Brussels-based graphic designer and visual artist with a conceptually driven practice spanning culture, music and sport. He collaborates with institutions, artists, festivals and collectives, from major museums to independent structures, to articulate distinctive positions across print, digital and motion.

His practice is rooted in the circulation of images and forms between swiss rigour, experimental layering and popular cultures, from the football stand to the mountain trail, using the distance between them as a space for inquiry.

About

Musique Action Chaumont

2025

Client: Musique Action Chaumont
Collaborator: Laurent Mbaah (graphic design and web development)
Font: Dina Chaumont (BVH type - André Baldinger, Toan Vu-Huu, Jimmy Le Guennec and Fanny Hamelin)

Musique Action Chaumont is a charity that organises musical and cultural events in the local area of Chaumont. The Musique Action Chaumont logo is rooted in its local context – in this case, Chaumont – by incorporating the Dina Chaumont typeface, which was specially designed for the town’s visual identity.

This dynamism, which reflects the association’s ethos, is conveyed through the different typefaces used within a single word, linked to ‘black and white’, evoking the behind-the-scenes work carried out by the technicians at concerts.

MUSIC MAC MARKET

For its first event, the Music MAC Market, we proposed enhancing the visual identity through the use of colour and the layering of elements, whilst maintaining a strict typographic style.
