In doing so, he develops a unique aesthetic and theoretical repertoire.
He is also working on two separate projects. The first is a research project exploring the world of football and fan culture, focusing on aspects off the pitch and the inner workings of the sport. The second is a project drawing inspiration from mountainous landscapes, sports practised in such environments, and mountainwear.

Dissonance explores the duality between the tranquillity of nature and the hustle and bustle of man-made events, set against a mountain backdrop with Chamonix-Mont-Blanc at its heart.
Long associated with winter, the mountains have, in recent years, become a popular summer destination. A desire for nature, the pursuit of wellbeing through sport, the influence of social media and influencers, and climate change: all these factors contribute to the overcrowding of the Arve Valley and Chamonix, particularly during the UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc). This overcrowding – both in terms of people and visual clutter – is fuelled by mountain clothing brands, for whom the event serves as an ‘Alpine Fashion Week’. Each brand presents its new collections, unveils limited-edition ranges and organises a host of ‘activations’ to maximise its visibility: film screenings, meet-and-greets with athletes, product launches, parties and all manner of experiences. Far from being uninteresting or unpleasant, this spotlight on brands and styles nevertheless clashes with the mountain culture that once prevailed.
This editorial piece juxtaposes contemplative photographs with demonstrative, overwhelming images.
